I would just like to say that I had the honor to have my reversal perform by Dr. Roberto Perez.  I had my surgery performed on February 11, 2002.

I arrived in McAllen, Tx on February 9, from West Palm Beach, Florida. At first the trip was turning out to be a disaster, from missing the first flight until having our hotel reservations cancelled and also having no rental car to get around. At first I figured that was a sign not to have the surgery, but the next day was truly better.  A girlfriend of mine that speaks fluent Spanish went with me for support during the surgery and also to translate for me. We set out at 11:00 am to find the hospital needless to say we got lost. We finally stopped at a 7 eleven in Rio Bravo and called Dr. Perez, he pointed us in the right direction, we were right up the street from the hospital! Then this nice lady and her son offered to let us follow them to find the hospital.

When we got there we told Levi that we had been lost, and that we were scared to leave. He talked to me and my friend for a while and assured us everything was going to be ok.  Next morning we left McAllen, TX at 5:30 am and believe it or not we got straight to the hospital. They took me straight to the room gave me a gown, came and took blood and prep me, and at 8:00 am, Levi was wheeling me into the Operating Room where I met Dr. Perez and the anesthesiologist. Within 15 minutes I was out like a light. The next time I woke up it was in my room. My friend said it only took them two hours and I was done.

I was trying to get out of bed by 12 P.M.. I felt great, no pain what so ever until I got back home to Florida, but only for a few days. I was back to work on that Wednesday and I arrived home on that Tuesday.

I would recommend Dr. Perez and the entire staff, to anyone. He and "Levi" are the best, the entire staff really. I have never seen a hospital clean so much in my life, that hospital is so clean you could literally eat off the floor.
