We started our search for a tubal reversal in 1999, and after careful research we finally found Dr. Roberto Perez.  This was a blessing.  It was a joyous day when I was able to schedule my surgery to be done on September 28, 2002.  I couldn't have been more excited! When it came time for me to leave I thought I must be dreaming.

I rode the bus from NY to McAllen, Texas, and then took one of the Mexican buses into Rio Bravo.  It was a long trip but well worth it.  I arrived on Friday morning and was met by Dr. Levi.   He talked with me for awhile and explained the surgery and then took me to my room to get prepped for surgery.  They came in to give me the epidural and I never felt anything.  It was like it was done and over with and I was still saying 'are you going start it'.  After awhile I was rolled down to the surgery room where I met Dr. Perez.  He is a very nice man.  He and Dr. Levi both talked with me while they were doing my surgery, telling me what was going on.

When the surgery was almost over I fell asleep and woke up in my room.  I was scared at first because I forgot about the epidural and thought I was paralyzed. But Dr. Levi was really great and came in and put me to ease.  LOL!!  He told me my lengths were 7-8cm on left and 8-9 on right.  I was ecstatic!!!  They said I had about a 90% chance to conceive.   The next morning, after they gave me a wonderful breakfast and I was able to go to the bathroom and walk okay, they let me go home.

I will always remember Dr. Perez and Dr. Levi!!  I Thank them both from the bottom of my heart.  I have not yet conceived but that is from other medical issues we have been dealing with.   Dr. Perez and Dr. Levi did a fantastic job.  I recommend them both to whoever would ask me about a doctor or a tubal reversal.
