Welcome Sophie I had another girl on August, 19, 2008 (Sophie Welch) and I am
currently pregnant due in late Sept/early October. Thank
you for touching our life! I will attach a picture of Sophie.
July 2006
Our baby was ectopic and in my right fallopian
tube. I was rushed into surgery on Tuesday at around 3:00 after
experiencing some pelvic pain similar to painful gas. An ultrasound
earlier that morning still showed nothing in my uterus except a
pocket of fluid which was turned out to be blood as well as a mass
on my right side and my betas were still doubling correctly. That
said I knew my dates were correct and did not correspond with an
earlier pregnancy
They had to remove my right tube but said my left
tube and both ovaries and uterus looked great. I am just getting
home now and just wanted to leave a quick note so everyone was not
hanging wondering what happened. Thank you for the many prayers. We
continue to thank God for His mercy in that the tubal pregnancy was
diagnosed prior to erupting, and that my husband had not left town
yet on a business trip leaving me with my 2 1/2 year old and 1 year
old alone and without a vehicle. We continue to covet your prayers
as we recover and pray for Gods continued blessing in more children
according to His divine plan.

May 2002
I had my tubal ligation in December of 1996 after the birth of my
6th child. I felt a lot of pressure from family members as well as
from those in the medical community to have the procedure done. I
had immediate regrets, but told myself that it was already done and
I had to live with my choice now. A couple of years later I did a
bit of calling around to Dr's in my area about having a reversal and
was quoted he price of $20,000! This was NOT within our financial
range, so again, years passed.
While in church one night the Lord spoke to us about dreams and
hopes we have had and how we had given up basically on them. The
minister asked us to let the Lord speak to us as to what those
things were in our own life. The Lord spoke to me about a couple of
things but one of them was my desire for another child. I felt this
was a hopeless cause, but willingly put this desire into the hands
of the Lord. Another two years later I was searching the internet
for information on reversals and found Dr. Perez!
I was reluctant at first because of having to travel outside of the
country, but after reading the many testimonies I began to really
consider going. One day while writing encouragement to another woman
who was trying to conceive, the Lord brought rushing back every
detail about the service where he had spoken to me about my hopes &
dreams. I immediately recognized this as the confirmation I was
waiting for and called Dr. Perez for my surgery. God provided "just
in time" the exact amount of money I needed for my reversal and
travel expenses. I had a friend offer to watch my other children
while I was gone for free, and another friend agreed to travel with
me! Before I knew it, we were on our way!
On May 4th, 2002, God restored my fertility through the work of Dr.
Perez. My experiences in Rio Bravo with Dr. Perez were excellent.
From the moment we walked through the door of the hospital things
went very quickly. I was brought to my room and given an initial
examination and had my blood drawn and an IV put in, as well as
completed some paperwork. I waited patiently until it was my turn to
go in, and Levi explained everything step by step for me. The nurses
were very gentle and kind. I met the anesthesiologist who asked me
if I was feeling a bit nervous. I said a little, so he told me he
was going to give me something to relax me through my I.V, and that
is the last thing I remember until I woke up.
My first question of course was was it successful? Yes, they told me
and I just cried the entire ride to my room. I was whole again. It
took several months for my body to regulate after my surgery, due to
a preexisting medical condition. In Feb. of 2003 I conceived! I was
not expecting it and was delighted, but unfortunately we lost that
child very early in the pregnancy. After my one year TR anniversary
came around, I began to wonder if I had made a mistake in
interpreting the will of God.
Then the Lord spoke to me about everything I was doing to "help" Him
accomplish his will. I had it all ~ fertility monitors,
thermometers, books, fertility medications, charting and month after
month no success. For me this was a lesson in trust. Finally I was
able to stop using everything and let God take control of the
situation. June 10th we conceived a second time! We were no longer
trying.
All of the Praise, ALL of the HONOR goes to GOD ~~ this was all Him.
