Tubal reversal  Oct , 2003

October 2003

I don't mind posting my experience online. In fact, it was through reading other testimonials that convinced me that I had to go to Rio Bravo as well.

Being a Registered Nurse, I understood the risks and the benefits involved. I wasn't scared at all. In fact, it was all so easy. Within five minutes of arrival, I was placed in a very clean, private hospital room. The nurse came in and started my IV with just one stick. Then Levi came in to see me and we were ready to get started. I rode to the OR in a wheelchair. There I met the anesthesiologist and Dr. Perez. Let me tell you that the very last thing I remember was laughing with the anesthesiologist. He said that he was going to give me something to relax me. When I awoke, I was in my room and the procedure was over.

Levi came in to see me about 10 pm and since I had came there alone, he called my family and let them know the surgery was successful and that I was doing fine. The next morning I showered and requested to be discharged. I didn't require any pain medication, except I took two Tylenol which I had in my purse. I was on my way home by lunchtime. I was walking a little slower than I was when I got to Rio Bravo, but I was smiling from ear to ear!

I was able to return to work in a week and nobody could believe it. You can't even see where the incision was. It was across the bikini line. It is so thin and tiny I have to look for it too.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Perez to anyone interested in having a tubal reversal. He and his staff were very professional and simply wonderful. I still can't believe how easy it was. Just make the phone call; it will change your life!
