January 2006

Just wanted to let everyone know that  I am expecting a little girl. My doctor told us Friday that if all goes well, he will be inducing me this up coming weekend.

May 2005

Just wanted to let you know that I am pregnant.  Pregnancy was confirmed by my pcp on the 31st of May.  I was feeling a little funny and I knew I was to be coming on my cycle. But, something told me to go to the store to get an EPT.  I went to the store and got a pretty cheap test and came home and saw a very light line in the positive window.  So I threw that one in the trash and went back to the store and upgraded to a more expensive priced test.  Rushed home and that test turned pink real quick. I was like, oh my goodness. My husband was like is this thing accurate?  Well, I was so excited that the next day I went and bought another to make sure and again the day after that I bought still another. I did a total of 4 ept's and then off to the doctor on the 31st of May.  He also confirmed what had been already confirmed with the past ept's.  He then sent me to an OB/GYN which is concerned about where the baby maybe at this time, because I've been having some dull abdomen cramps.  So he did a blood test to check some sort of levels Wednesday and I have to go back Friday for the same blood work to make sure that the levels are increasing. I will definitely know if all is well Monday. (Hopefully) I am just so Thankful to the Lord and to Dr. Perez.
God is Good!!!!!!

April 2005

Hi everyone- I just got back last night from Mexico from having my HSG at 9am yesterday. (04-24-05) I must say that the procedure was quick, I was there probably 45 minutes. Both tubes are wide open!!!!!  They prefer that the HSG be done 3 days after your cycle. I wasn't told this before hand and went one week before my cycle. But, I had done an EPT before I went.  DR. Perez said; now it is left up to God, my husband, and a tequila. (not)

Thanks to all of you for your Testimonies they have been a blessing for me.  I hope to have an update later on with more good news.

January 2005

Hello to everyone, I had my tr on Jan. 30th of this year. We live in Oklahoma so my husband and I decided to make the drive.  Before we left Saturday afternoon I had my Hispanic neighbor to make me some flash cards with basic words that I would probably need while at the hospital.  When we made it to the Texas line we stopped at the visitor center and got a Texas map, that led us right into Rio Bravo.  The trip there really was that long.  We left Oklahoma around 11 or 12pm and was in Pharr Texas around 10pm.  It probably would not of taken that long but we had about a 2 hour delay with construction.

We decided to stay at a nice, small motel on Cage Blvd that ran around 40.00. Needless to say; I didn't get that much rest I was up and down all night... We got up the next morning around 8am and crossed the border about 10 to 15min. later. We didn't have a problem finding the hospital with the instructions that is on the website.  When we registered in the hospital I was placed in Room #7 and the nurses started coming in to get me ready for surgery.  When I got there Dr. Perez was delivering a baby, so within about 45mins to an hour they were ready for me.  I must admit that I was very nervous.

I met Dr. Perez, but he doesn't say much.   Dr. Levi was a sweetheart and so was Dr. Moreno. I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff.  When I was in the surgery room I too looked for the cross and sure enough there it was, behind me.  All I could say was, Thank you Jesus.  I woke up a couple of times during surgery and my husband was right by my side.  He has a pretty weak stomach but he stayed strong for me and did not leave my side.  I was left with 5cm on the left and 6cm on the right.  The next day while still being in the hospital I just kept crying. I don't know what came over me. God is good all the time!

It's been almost 3 months now and I am planning a trip back to Mexico for my HSG.  I will let you all know how it goes.
