I wanted to update to this wonderful group of people. I had my tubal reversal done on March 18th, 2005 and I am excited to announce that I am now 18 weeks pregnant. We found out that we are having a baby boy and are just thrilled! I have had 3 ultrasounds (due to my "advanced maternal age") and a screening test and all looks perfectly fine.  I will update when this little guy makes his appearance.   Lisa and Steve

March 2005

Our surgery date was March 18th, 2005.  Our experience was a great one except for the airline losing out luggage.  I was VERY scared when I got there and was really ready to run out of there but my husband contacted Fanny (who had just dropped us off) and told her that I was very nervous.  She contacted Dr. Levi who sped things along.  I was IN surgery an hour later.

I had my tubes tied 11 years at that point and I am 36 years old. I was cut, burned and had little rings on them.  The surgery went well and while I had a little bit of a rough night (the bed was a little harder than I am used to) all in all, the experience was a great one.  The nurses were all very nice and the food was great.

Dr. Levi came in to talk to us the next morning and I was already out of bed and had already taken a shower. While I was weak, I was raring to go. We needed to get back into the states in case they found our luggage.

We were brought to our hotel in McAllen around 2 pm.  So, less than 24 hours later I was on my feet and ready to start the healing process.

The experience was a great one. Thank you everyone!!
