My name is Mandy Hart and I had my reversal done on October 17, 2006.

My sister and I arrived in McAllen around 3:00 and we were met by the hospital shuttle. The driver (I'm sorry to say that I can't remember his name) was very friendly and he helped us with our things. My sister talked with him some, but I was a little nervous so I didn't say very much.

When we arrived at the hospital, we were put in room 1 and the staff brought my sister some dinner. Unfortunately, I couldn't eat any!!!  Dr. Levi came in around 6 or so and talked with us about the surgery and asked if I had any questions. He explained everything really well, so I didn't really have any questions to ask.

I went into surgery around 7 o'clock and was back in the room about 45 minutes later - at least this is what my sister said! Dr. Levi explained to me that I had some scar tissue on my right tube that they had to remove, but I was left with 6cm on each side.

Overall, everything went great! I did end up with a spinal headache, which had to be treated by a Dr. in my home town.  Other than that, everything was fine and I know that I have been so blessed.

I hope the Lord will continue to bless us by giving us a child. Dr. Levi said there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to conceive. I know it is all in Gods hands at this point.  Good luck to everyone ~ whether you are waiting for your surgery or you're waiting for that BFP!!!!
