UPDATE:  Great news!!!! Well, it is now June 12, 2006 and I am now approximately 3 months pregnant. We conceived our precious little miracle about 3 weeks after the surgery.  I had a few ultrasounds at 2 months, just to make sure that the baby was in the right place in my uterus……and we just heard the fetal heartbeat on last week.  Our baby is due on December 29th, 2006…..and we are so excited!!!

My name is Monica Love and I had my tubal reversal surgery on Saturday, March 25th.  My surgery was actually scheduled for Sunday the 26th, but when my husband and I arrived at the hospital on Saturday afternoon….we were told that I would be having my surgery that evening. I was a little anxious about that, but was also very excited and ready to get everything over with.

The nurses showed us to our room & as soon as I got out of the shower, the nurses were back in my room and ready to take me into the operating room for my surgery. The first thing that I looked for in the operating room was the Cross over the door…and as soon as I located it, I felt a tremendous peace come over me. After the doctor administered the epidural, I was completely numb from my waist down and was completely relaxed. I could hear both Dr. Levi and Dr. Perez working on me, and within about 40 minutes they had already finished.  At that point, Dr. Levi informed me that they were able to salvage 6cm. of tube on both sides, and that I had an excellent chance to conceive once again. I was absolutely elated about that, and I truly felt that God had certainly used Dr. Levi and Dr. Perez as His vessels in order to restore my fertility back to me.

The nurses then rolled me back to room # 7 where we were staying, and for the remainder of the night I just relaxed and watched a couple of movies on the 1 American television station that they had available. The next day by 1 pm, I was up and ready to go…..and after Dr. Levi came into the room to say goodbye; my husband and I were off with Marco back to the airport.

I wanted to make sure that I mentioned that both Dr. Levi and Marco (his brother) were EXTREMELY friendly. They were both very humble and down-to-earth, and they made my husband & I feel right at home. I would absolutely recommend anyone to Rio Bravo Reversal to have their reversal surgery done. We made a great choice and I don’t have any regrets!!
