Tubal reversal

August 2008

Id like to share my story with the many women who are wondering is Mexico the right place for me to go and get surgery?  Well it was that!    I have had 4 kids and I was done having kids so I thought.   Well 2 years went by and I was regretting the fact that I had a tubal ligation.  I was very depressed and emotional especially when I saw pregnant women at my ob gyns office. So the time came around that I sat down with my husband and I asked him how do you feel about a tubal reversal. He told me what ever made me happy he'll go with it and his only problem was that the surgery was to expensive over here in California!! I was real worried so I searched the internet for days at a time.  I wouldn’t even go to sleep sometimes.  Over here in the u.s it cost as much as 12,000 dollars and I couldn’t afford that so I searched under tr in Mexico just playing around and that’s when dr. Perez came up.   I was like oh babe come here check this out.  We saw that over in Mexico it was only 2,900.  I was so relived but the question was is Mexico the right place to go and get this done?  So I read all the testimonies and I was real comfortable with it.  I went and called the number and talked to a nice and kind guy named José;  he is Dr. Levi's  assistant. They were really nice and they explained to me the whole procedure and how it’s done and what to expect and they were the kindest people.  Even the nurses were so sweet.  Well I scheduled my surgery date and as time went on I was more and more nervous.

Then the day came I was scheduled for my op on June 28 2008 at 7:00pm and I flew in at mc Allen airport and a gentlemen named Armin picked me up he’s nice to where he drove me across the border and to the hospital there; we showed up at 11:00am and they took me in at 3:00pm I was nervous cause they took me in even earlier that 7:oo!!!!!! Well the nurse came in and put in my iv and I was feeling better.   The hospital was very clean even cleaner than the hospitals in the US, just ia little smaller and a little dated but it was very nice.   I was pleased with how it was well they took me in and gave me the sleepy juice it was gooddddd I never felt the epidural go in my back or anything I was already kind of out.  My trick is try not to get a lot of sleep the night before the surgery that way when they give you the sleepy juice you automatically fall asleep and before you now it you wake up and your all done with everything.  That’s how it was with me and after I woke up I felt ok pain but not much pain.

I think all the surgeons and especially dr. Perez was amazing I am so excited and I hope to have a baby soon thanks to dr. Perez and all his assistants and nurses at the hospital. I’ll keep you up dated with my results and if anybody is scared to go to Mexico don’t be!  It’s a very safe and clean place and all the drs are very nice.  So that’s my story and I hope everything goes as well for you as it did for me

Thanks dr, Perez and José love ya both
