My name is Veronica, and I had my tubal ligation done 10 years ago. After researching the subject of tubal reversal for more than a year, I chose Dr. Perez to perform the procedure. My surgery was performed in November 2009. It was only a few hours from where I live and it was the most cost effective for me and my family. I asked a relative to drive me to the hospital and our trip went without incident, I was very pleased. My mother joined me since my husband could not make it and was at home watching my other children.

As soon as I arrived at the hospital, I checked in and almost immediately they assigned me a room. I was very satisfied with the accommodations, it even had a small dining area, I was impressed. The nurse came in to finish the registration process and notified Dr. Levi that I had arrived. Within the hour Dr. Levi came by to introduce himself and go over the procedure that was scheduled for that evening. The nurse came by to start the IV and before I knew it they were rolling me in for the procedure. I required extra sedation due to previous surgeries.  When I woke up, I was back in my room and shortly thereafter the doctor came to check on me. I slept through the night without any additional pain medication.

The next day I woke up, was able to shower and get ready for that day, I was anxious to go home. I was able to eat something light that morning, and then had a regular lunch. The doctor came in to evaluate me, ordered the removal of anesthesia stint and IV, and released me later that afternoon. I went home, it took about 2 ½ weeks to recover. I was told I have 5cm on both sides of the fallopian tubes. I was sure to follow the doctor’s instructions very carefully.

I scheduled a follow up appointment with my OB/GYN and he was impressed with results of the surgery. So much so that he asked that I give him the contact information to Dr. Perez’s office. I am amazed that I was able to get pregnant in the first month we started trying to conceive, I still cannot believe it. This is a miracle; I did not imagine it would happen for me so quick.

I am very excited to announce that I am 6 weeks pregnant. I have had my first ultrasound and the baby is in the uterus, right where it should be. I want to thank GOD for this miracle. I also want to thank the doctors who performed the surgery.

I wanted to write and share my story because like many women I was doubtful that this procedure would be successful, but it is. The doctors are real, they are experienced and they are very well qualified to perform this type of procedure. I hope that this message reaches everyone wanting a child.
