Aug 2009 Greetings all, I am Nikia Vassell and I had my tubal reversal surgery on June 26th 2009. I want to say thank you to all the nurses and doctors that cared for me during my stay in Mexico. For those considering choosing this facility for a reversal, I highly, highly, recommend it. The cost is very reasonable and the care is exceptional. Yes, before coming, I had my doubts and fears that this would have been a waste of my time and money, but definitely not any more. My biggest fear was having the epidural done, and my biggest doubt was knowing whether or not this procedure would really work, or if the procedure would be done correctly. Well let me tell those who may have the same fear or doubt that you need not worry. Years ago I remembered having an epidural done, and it hurt; however, for some reason when I had it inserted for my reversal procedure, I didn’t feel a thing, amazing! Dr. Levi came in after surgery to tell me how the procedure went, even though I was awake for the whole thing, which was cool, and he let me know that he was able to repair my tubes and that I had about 7-8cm of tube. After the surgery my private nurse took excellent care of me. I didn’t travel with my spouse so I needed to have a private nurse. Once back at home, the pain I experienced was like
having a little gas every now and again, nothing major at all. I took my
own stitches out on day 8, and they slipped out with no problem, and no
discomfort. My surgery was on June 26th 2009, and on August 14th, 2009 I
went to see my doctor for a normal pap smear, and he informed me that I
was about six weeks pregnant. An ultrasound was done confirming that
the baby was growing inside of my uterus. Talk about someone happy, thank
you so much Dr. Levi and others that were involved in my reversal! |
